The Mongolian Tourism Association (MTA) is a non-governmental umbrella organization established in 1992 through the initiative of several privately owned companies within the Mongolian tourism sector. Its primary mission is to serve its members and promote interest in Mongolian tourism, both domestically and internationally.

As the leading professional organization in the Mongolian tourism industry, the MTA actively represents the diverse interests of its members and functions as the main coordinator between the private sector and government entities.

In collaboration with government agencies and various cultural, historical, and environmental organizations, we continue to position Mongolia as a unique travel destination. Statistics indicate that over 80% of leisure tourists visiting Mongolia utilize the services of our member organizations.

With nearly 120 active members, the MTA encompasses travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, and tourist camps. Additionally, we include numerous associate members from the hospitality sector, transport services, tourism education and training institutions, and other tourism-related organizations. Our objective is to foster quality and professionalism within our membership, thereby building trust and encouraging travelers and travel planners to engage with MTA members.
